A Generous Heart in Action
A young college sophomore from North Buffalo Community
Church,
who is currently working 2 jobs this summer decided to give his younger
sister (8 years old) a one dollar gift. What would you expect an 8 year old
girl do with a one dollar bill? If I were her I’d head straight to the store and
buy as
much candy as I could, as quickly as I could.
This little girl instead inserted the dollar into a church envelope
and wrote on
the outside that this was an offering from her and her 2 other
brothers
(one older and one younger). She split her gift 3 ways (33 and 1/3%
ea.)
and gave it to God. That’s what I’m talking about, a generous heart in
action.
